Txoko
Txoko means “corner” in Basque, but it is also used to refer to the gastronomic societies that are so common in San Sebastian, where the culinary experience goes far beyond sitting at a table.
A txoko is a place where cooking and tradition go hand in hand and where the food is as important as the company in which it is shared.
